Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 125

Madeline took one look, and her pupils shrank to pinpricks.

On the screen was a screenshot from a security camera, clearly showing Seraphina and Nate Lawson deep in conversation.

Below the photo was a single line of text: *Keystone has officially signed with Zenith Energy. Lead representative Ms. Sinclair verified the materials in person.*

Madeline's face flushed crimson.

"It's this bitch again!" She slammed the phone down onto the leather seat. "Why is she everywhere! She stole Keystone from us too! Is she just targeting the Lockwood family on purpose?"

Cynthia lowered her eyes. "Madeline, I had no idea it would be like this... Seraphina might really have some deep misunderstandings about us. But for her to repeatedly sabotage us like this, it's just..."

Madeline's temper completely exploded.

She whipped her head toward Dominic. "Dominic! Look at the wonderful wife you married! Are you just going to let her walk all over us?"

Dominic's hands clenched at his sides, his gaze turning to pure ice.

The SUV moved forward, rounding the corner and slowing down.

Madeline glanced out the window, her eyes widening as she jabbed a finger at the glass. "Look who it is!"

Seraphina stood in the pouring rain, clutching her bag tightly against her chest.

Madeline was practically vibrating with rage. "Dominic, she's standing right there! Are you really going to hold back?"

Dominic's eyes darkened, his jaw ticking.

"Stop the car."

The driver slammed on the brakes.

The black SUV pulled up just a few feet behind Seraphina.

The rain was deafening.

Seraphina was looking down at her phone when she suddenly heard someone call her name over the roar of the storm.

The voice was low, heavy, and carried an oppressive weight she knew entirely too well.

She turned around.

Dominic stood a few paces away beneath a black umbrella, his expression bleaker than the storm clouds above.

Seraphina's brow instantly furrowed.

Why did she have to run into him again?

Dominic's voice held zero warmth. "You talk a big game about wanting a divorce and abandoning your child, yet here you are parading around with this umbrella. What, trying to play hard to get? It won't work. That umbrella belongs to the Lockwood family. Give it back."

Staring up at his chiseled, merciless face, Seraphina found the situation utterly absurd.

She had custom-ordered this umbrella because her daughter had been jealous of the other kids at school who had similar ones.

It had a picture of their little family of three on it, meant solely for walking her daughter to the car. How on earth was this playing hard to get?

From sketching the design to placing the order and paying for it, she had handled every single step herself.

Dominic hadn't been involved for even a fraction of a second.

And now he was standing here, looking down on her, claiming the umbrella was "Lockwood property."

She gripped the handle so hard her fingers ached.

He was doing this on purpose. Dragging up the most ridiculous excuse in the middle of a torrential downpour just to steal her umbrella and watch her get soaked.

He wanted her to be miserable. He wanted her to be humiliated.

She wanted to scream at him, but she swallowed the anger down.
