Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 158

"With the upstream raw materials completely cut off, the little inventory I have on hand will last a few days at most."

He rubbed his temples. "Rather than failing to fulfill orders and ruining my reputation, it's better to just close up shop now. At least I'll keep some dignity."

Seraphina pressed her lips into a thin line. She stood up, walked over to his computer, and pulled up a chair. Her fingers flew across the keyboard.

"What are you doing?" Zach asked.

"I'm checking to see if there are any other suppliers out there."

Zach let out a bitter laugh. "I've already checked them all. I asked everyone I could, and no one is willing to take my business."

Seraphina scrolled the mouse, flipping through page after page.

She clicked on every supplier on the screen.

The further she scrolled, the heavier her heart became.

It was exactly as Zach had said. Every listed supplier showed statuses like "Not Accepting New Partnerships," "At Full Capacity," or even flat-out "Order Intake Suspended."

It was as if they had all coordinated their stories.

She clenched her fists, her gaze finally landing at the very bottom of the screen.

*Laurel Materials — The Cole Group*.

Her eyes paused.

Cole's.

Gideon Cole.

Seraphina turned back to Zach. "Does The Cole Group have a microchip division?"

Zach nodded. "Yeah, they do. They own Laurel Microtech, which handles high-end processing. They have their own raw materials factories, completely vertically integrated—from mining the minerals to the finished product."

His tone shifted, filling with deep reverence. "Laurel's material supply is universally acknowledged as the absolute best in the industry."

Seraphina's gaze sharpened.

"Then you can partner with them."

Zach's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Are you crazy? That's Gideon Cole."

"Mr. Cole, the head of The Cole Group. He's the absolute pinnacle of not just Northport, but the entire corporate world. His supply chain only deals with tier-one giants. A tiny processing plant like mine couldn't even get past their front door."

With that, she turned and headed for the door.

Zach hurried after her. "Seraphina! Where are you going? Just listen to me—"

She was already in the living room.

Hearing the commotion, Arthur and Clara popped their heads out of the kitchen. They froze when they saw Seraphina heading for the door with her bag.

"Dinner is almost ready, where are you going?"

"Yeah, you finally came home to visit! Eat before you leave!"

Seraphina looked back at their worried faces and offered a reassuring smile. "Mom, Dad, Zach... I just have some errands to run."

She opened the door and slipped out.

Behind her, Arthur and Clara exchanged bewildered looks.

"Zach, what's gotten into her?"

Zach just shook his head. He had no idea.
