Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 159

Seraphina took a cab straight to Laurel Heights.

The butler escorted her into the massive living room of the Cole estate.

Gideon Cole was sitting on the sofa, a document in his hands.

Yara Lennox was there as well, hovering attentively around old Mrs. Cole.

Seraphina greeted him warmly. "Mr. Cole, I came to check on old Mrs. Cole."

Gideon lifted his gaze, giving a brief nod. "Come in, have a seat."

Beatrice's eyes immediately lit up. "The lovely girl who cooks is here!"

Seraphina smiled, relieved to see the old lady in good spirits today.

She walked over.

Beatrice eagerly grasped her hands. "You're here! I missed you so much."

Seraphina's smile widened. "I missed you too."

Yara chimed in from the side. "Ms. Sinclair, it's wonderful that you're here. I was just stressing out. Old Mrs. Cole's mood has been fine the last couple of days, and she's been eating a bit, but not nearly enough. She only had a small bowl of soup for lunch, and no matter how much I coaxed her tonight, she refused to touch her silverware. What do you think we should do?"

Seraphina nodded thoughtfully. "Then we need to change up the main course."

She looked back at Beatrice. "How about some savory ribs and oatmeal for dinner tonight?"

The old lady nodded enthusiastically.

Seraphina headed to the kitchen and quickly returned with a steaming bowl of savory oatmeal.

Beatrice sat at the dining table, scooped up a spoonful, and smacked her lips in delight before eagerly going back for seconds.

In no time, she had polished off two entire bowls, scraping the bottom clean.

Yara watched, completely astounded.

Beatrice set the bowl down, patting her stomach with deep satisfaction. "Your food is just the best."

Seraphina pulled a napkin and wiped the corners of her mouth while the old lady sat perfectly still, tilting her head up happily.

Sitting a few feet away, Gideon observed the heartwarming scene, the usual icy distance in his eyes softening noticeably.

"Mr. Cole, I came today to propose a partnership."

Gideon took the document and flipped it open. His eyes landed on the title: *Laurel Materials — Supply Chain Partnership Application*.

He turned a few pages, his brows lifting slightly in surprise. "Are you still in the microchip processing business?"

"My brother is," she corrected smoothly. "His factory might not be massive, but his technical expertise is top-tier, and his quality control is incredibly consistent. He even has long-term clients from tier-one manufacturers. Over the last three years, he's never had a single batch returned."

Gideon flipped through a few more pages.

"The data looks solid," he noted, closing the folder.

"I'll arrange for a team to do an on-site inspection. If everything checks out, we can sign the contract."

Seraphina was stunned, the massive weight crushing her chest instantly vanishing.

She hadn't expected it to go this smoothly.

A genuine smile bloomed on her face. "Thank you, Mr. Cole."
