Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 164

Clad in a dark gray tailored suit, he stood tall, radiating an icy, commanding presence.

Cynthia Ross emerged from the other side. With flawless makeup and an elegant aura, she linked her arm through Dominic's.

Walking side by side, they looked like the perfect power couple.

Cameras swiveled toward them, flashes erupting in a blinding frenzy.

Dominic remained completely stoic, while Cynthia carried herself with practiced grace, utterly accustomed to the spotlight.

As they entered the venue, numerous guests approached to network. Dominic offered only brief, aloof responses, maintaining his high-status detachment.

Suddenly, another car pulled up to the entrance.

Every eye in the room instinctively shifted toward the door.

Seraphina walked in.

She was wearing The Starry Feast. Dressed to absolute perfection, she looked stunningly regal.

Beneath the chandeliers, it looked as if the entire galaxy had been draped over her shoulders.

Today was Zachary's monumental signing with Cole's. His success meant the Sinclair family's success, and nothing made her happier.

She had refused to wear The Starry Feast for any other occasion, saving it specifically for today to make sure Zachary looked prestigious by association.

Her breathtaking arrival completely stole the show. Every camera pivoted directly toward her, instantly abandoning Dominic and Cynthia.

The paparazzi flashes ignited like a torrential storm of light.

Dominic's gaze locked onto her, the usual frost in his eyes violently shattering, as if he had been burned.

He had never seen her look like this.

She was unimaginably gorgeous.

His eyes traced over her, unable to look away for several long seconds.

Standing right next to him, Cynthia caught his reaction out of the corner of her eye.

Her fingers dug into her palms, but she forced a nonchalant expression.

"Ms. Sinclair looks lovely today. I suppose securing a hundred and fifty million dollars really changes a person's wardrobe."

Her tone was light, sounding like a casual observation.

But Dominic heard the implication, and his brow sharply furrowed.

It instantly reminded him of the devastating billion-dollar loss he had suffered at the gemstone auction.

And how Seraphina had tricked him into spending a fortune on a defective dress.

She could have worn The Starry Feast any other day, but she specifically chose to wear it today, knowing Cynthia would be here. It was a deliberate, vicious slap in the face.

Dominic's expression darkened, his stare turning absolutely glacial as he watched Seraphina.

When was the last time?

Right before Seraphina left the Lockwood household.

In the past, Seraphina had always managed his wardrobe, personally picking up his seasonal Amie orders.

He had never thought twice about it.

Only now did it dawn on him that Seraphina actually had the clearance to obtain Amie's exclusive pieces.

How exactly did she pull that off?

Then he remembered Chelsea, her best friend and the owner of the luxury mall where the Amie boutique was located.

He scoffed.

If nothing else, the woman definitely knew how to exploit her connections.

So, what was she trying to prove by parading an Amie suit around tonight?

Was she finally coming to beg for his forgiveness?

A smug smirk played on Dominic's lips, though his eyes remained hard.

He tilted his chin up, resuming his haughty, untouchable posture.
