Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 207

The entire venue fell into absolute silence.

The referee stared down at his digital timer in pure shock.

"Seraphina... touched the wall first."

"By exactly zero point five seconds."

The crowd erupted in absolute uproar.

Cynthia froze completely in the water, her face draining to the color of bleached bone.

Seraphina braced her hands on the edge, hauled herself onto the deck, and wiped the dripping water from her face.

A wave of thunderous applause swept over the crowd, with dozens of spectators throwing her enthusiastic thumbs-ups.

Dominic stood glued to the spot, his intense gaze lingering on her for several seconds as a chaotic storm of emotions swirled in his eyes.

He had never seen Seraphina like this.

Soaking wet, exhausted, yet utterly, blindingly radiant.

Cynthia shot a desperate glance in Dominic's direction, only to realize he was completely fixated on Seraphina, causing her knuckles to turn white with fury.

Gideon had already reached the edge of the pool.

He had halted his sprint the exact moment Seraphina flung the snake out of the water.

He had simply stood there, watching this fierce woman violently close the gap and steal the victory.

He watched her rise out of the pool, glowing with an unstoppable, fiery brilliance.

He couldn't stop the deep, appreciative smirk from carving itself across his face.

A few feet away, the massive snake was still thrashing.

His eyes instantly went dead with ice. Raising the steel prod, he drove it down with ruthless precision directly into the base of the serpent's neck.

A sharp crack of voltage snapped through the air, the snake convulsed violently, and then went completely limp.

Gideon cast one last glance at Seraphina's back before turning sharply and walking away.

By the time Myles finally made it down to the deck, all he saw was his boss's retreating silhouette.

He looked down at the pulverized snake and shuddered violently.

The Boss was utterly merciless.

The crowd remained in a frenzy, swarming around Seraphina, showering her with praise for her unbelievable skill and terrifying bravery.

Cynthia was entirely abandoned on the outskirts of the cheering mob, her face cycling through shades of furious humiliation.

A few people in the crowd recognized the breed, whispering that it was indeed an incredibly rare, exotic species that cost an absolute fortune.

Seraphina shot him a look of utter disgust, entirely over the drama, and turned toward the locker rooms to change.

Harvey lunged forward to block her path. "You aren't leaving until you pay up!"

Cynthia, who had been aggressively drying her hair, stopped and crossed her arms, thoroughly enjoying the new spectacle.

Yvette stood by with her arms folded, practically buzzing with excitement at the drama.

The tension thickened to a breaking point.

More and more spectators crowded in to watch the chaos.

Since Westside Tech Park was essentially owned by the Cole family, and Harvey was Gideon's cousin, the majority of the wealthy elite naturally leaned toward defending him.

A few murmurs rose from the crowd, suggesting that Seraphina really should compensate him for the loss.

Standing on the outer edge, Tristan clenched his jaw and immediately stepped forward to defend her.

But a heavy hand clamped firmly down on his shoulder.

Dominic's face was completely emotionless. "Tristan, stay out of this."

"Stay out of it?" Tristan stared at Dominic in utter disbelief.
