Alistair's throat bobbed, his voice dropping an octave. "Seraphina, what are you talking about?"
Seraphina let out a cold laugh, pulled a manila envelope from the coffee table drawer, and tossed it onto the table.
Alistair snatched it up and pulled out the contents.
It was a stack of printed server logs and digital transfer receipts, perfectly documenting his exact keystrokes when he accessed Arthur's files and forwarded them to a third party.
The IP address was traced directly to the Lennox Group's executive network.
Alistair went completely pale.
Seraphina's tone was unforgiving. "I told you not to touch my family. I warned you there would be consequences."
"You..." Alistair gripped the papers tightly. "Seraphina, the Lennox family is your blood! I am your biological father!"
Seraphina looked up at him.
Her gaze was dead.
"When you abandoned me for over twenty years without a second thought, when you plotted against the man who actually raised me, when you helped Drake run my father out of his career—did you ever stop to think I was your daughter?"
Alistair was utterly speechless.
Her expression grew even colder. "This was just a warning. Cross me again, and I'll wipe your company off the map."
Alistair gritted his teeth, desperate to call her an ungrateful brat, but he didn't dare.
He finally realized that the daughter standing in front of him wasn't the naive, easily manipulated small-town girl he thought she was.
She was more ruthless than anyone he had ever dealt with.
Giving him a final, dismissive look, Seraphina tapped her phone screen and sent another file to his number.
Alistair stared at the notification. Every instinct told him it was a death blow, but he opened it anyway.
It was an audio recording.
"...Cynthia is my biological daughter. You and I are the only ones who know. Keep your mouth shut, and make sure no one ever finds out..."
"My sperm donor," she cut in sharply. "That's it."
She stepped closer, towering over his pathetic posture.
"This was your warning. The millions you lost is the price you pay."
Alistair's face turned a sickly shade of gray.
She stared right through him, her voice lethal.
"Push me again, and I won't just destroy your company. I'll destroy your entire family."
His hands shook so badly the papers rustled loudly in his grip.
"How... how do you have this..."
Seraphina snatched the file back, her voice dropping to a whisper. "I'll say it one last time. Try me again, and I won't just destroy your company. I'll destroy your entire family."
Clutching his chest, Alistair stumbled backward in defeat.
