Cynthia offered a delighted smile and buried her face into Dominic's chest.

Hidden in the shadows, her gaze turned predatory and ruthless.

She knew certain matters required a little push.

As soon as Dominic and Seraphina divorced, she would marry him immediately. From then on, she would be the new Mrs. Lockwood.

She lifted her gaze toward the direction Seraphina had left, her eyes flashing with venom. As for Seraphina, Cynthia vowed to trample her into the dirt.

Seraphina walked out of the Lockwood family's main gates, got into her car, and gave the driver the address to Chelsea Sterling's high-end mall, heading straight there.

Chelsea's eyes lit up the moment she walked in, and she patted the seat next to her. "Weren't you supposed to stay for old Mrs. Lockwood's birthday? How did you get out so fast?"

Seraphina sat down and gave her a brief rundown of the night's events at the estate.

Chelsea was absolutely furious.

"Dominic is a piece of trash! He thinks fifty billion dollars is enough to get rid of you? Does he think you're a beggar? And threatening you with your own daughter? Is he even human?"

Seraphina remained calm, pulling out her phone to transfer twenty million dollars to Chelsea's account.

Chelsea glanced down and her eyes widened in shock.

"Babe, what are you doing? Did you strike gold?"

Seraphina's expression turned serious. "Use this to pull strings for now. Keep hiring people to lock down concrete proof of Dominic's infidelity."

"Also, have someone look into Cynthia and Winifred's recent movements..."

Chelsea's eyes grew even wider. "Babe, are you planning something huge?"

Seraphina's gaze hardened.

"I'm not going to play dirty behind Dominic's back—I know I don't have the leverage for that—but I'm done sitting around like a sitting duck. I'm going to turn up the heat and force them to expose their own flaws."

Chelsea's voice bubbled with excitement. "Babe, just tell me what you need me to do."

Seraphina shook her head. "You don't need to show your face. Just find me a few reliable, highly capable people to gather their evidence. That's all."

"Leave it to me." Chelsea slapped her thigh, grabbed her phone, and immediately started making arrangements.

"I will."

Seraphina left the mall, bought some of Arthur Sinclair's favorite food, and headed back to the Sinclair family home.

As she walked in, she saw Arthur sitting on the living room sofa, staring blankly into space.

Hearing the door open, he scrambled to turn off the TV, turning around to force a smile. "You're back, Seraphina? Why did you buy more things? We already have everything we need."

Seraphina placed the bags on the coffee table and returned his smile.

"I bought you a jacket. The mornings and evenings are getting chilly."

Arthur took the bag and nodded in agreement.

But his entire demeanor was defeated.

Ever since he was forced out of The Applied Science Institute, Arthur had been out of work, and sitting idle at home had drained the life out of him.

Seraphina sat beside him, noticing the gray hairs at his temples, and a heavy lump formed in her throat.

However, she already had a plan in motion.
