Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 241

Lily turned her face away, refusing to look at her.

Chelsea wasn't annoyed and simply continued. "None of the dishes on your table are things your mother likes to eat."

"Furthermore," she pointed at the plate of garlic butter prawns.

"Your mother is highly allergic to shrimp. Even a slight touch breaks her out in hives. Tell me, how exactly did you expect her to sit here and eat with you?"

Lily's face flushed a deep red as she whipped her head around. "You're lying!"

"Mom used to cook these dishes every single day! Her garlic butter prawns are the best! How could she not like them? You're a liar!"

Chelsea took a deep breath. "She only made them because you liked them. Your mother knows every single dish you love, but do you have any idea what she likes?"

Lily choked on her words.

She opened her mouth to speak, but couldn't squeeze out a single syllable.

Yet, her face was still full of stubborn defiance.

"You're all liars! You're all mean!"

Seraphina stood a few steps away, having heard the entire exchange.

She turned, walked back, and crouched down in front of Lily.

"Lily, you can't be so impolite. Chelsea is an adult, just like me. You cannot speak to her that way."

Tears welled up in Lily's eyes.

Several people nearby were already looking their way.

She gritted her teeth and stayed silent, but glared fiercely at Seraphina.

It was her mother's fault. Her mother had humiliated her, and she decided she truly hated her mother now.

Seraphina met her daughter's gaze and froze.

The look in Lily's eyes was incredibly cold, filled with resentment and detachment.

A suffocating pang of sorrow tightened Seraphina's chest.

The high-society ladies had been enjoying themselves, and being suddenly kicked out left them all highly offended. A few of the more hot-tempered ones threw a fit right then and there, calling Winifred incredibly disrespectful.

Winifred couldn't care less about their feelings at that moment. She forced herself to usher everyone out, then practically sprinted toward the side hall.

But the moment she reached the door, before she could even push it open, a furious roar from Dominic sent her stumbling backward.

Terrified, Winifred retreated several steps and stood frozen in the hallway for a long time.

Seeing this, the corners of Seraphina's lips twitched upward into a faint smile.

A high-definition video of Dominic and Cynthia had also been extracted.

The contents of the poison that Winifred had Mrs. Lloyd feed to Beatrice Cole had been fully analyzed.

Furthermore, tracing the source of the poison led directly to Stella Turner. Following Stella's trail inadvertently uncovered the truth about the drugging incident that had framed Seraphina all those years ago.

It was a screenshot of an investigation log, detailing the drugs Stella had taken from her family's pharmacy back then, the chemical composition of that batch, and the financial transactions between Winifred and Stella.

At the very bottom was a line of fine print: After multiple verifications, it was confirmed that Winifred was not the only one who instructed Stella to drug Seraphina all those years ago.
