Cynthia had also been involved.
Seraphina stared at that line of text, her expression unreadable.
"Send it all to me."
"Done," Chelsea replied.
Seraphina pocketed her phone and let out a long exhale.
Back at her apartment, Seraphina booted up her laptop and began organizing the files.
She looked at the videos and took a deep breath.
Finally, she had the leverage she needed to negotiate with Dominic.
She compiled the explicit videos of Dominic and Cynthia, merged them with the evidence she had previously recorded, and sent one copy to Dominic.
Another copy went straight to the relevant authorities.
She was filing for divorce.
Once it was sent, she looked at the screenshots of the conspiracy from years ago and clicked hide.
She didn't plan on giving them to Dominic, at least not yet.
The evidence wasn't comprehensive enough. Even if she gave it to him, he wouldn't believe her.
She would wait until she had the complete picture before making her next move.
Her gaze turned ice-cold. She would not spare a single person who had hurt her.
After finishing all of this,
Seraphina opened a new tab.
Taking a deep breath, she picked up her phone and dialed a number.
It rang twice before someone answered.
"Hello, this is the Northport Police Department."
Seraphina's voice was crystal clear. "I want to file an official report against Winifred Lockwood of the Lockwood Group. She has been systematically poisoning an elderly family member and is suspected of hiring someone to assault me."
Word by word, she laid out all the information she had gathered.
"I have compiled all the evidence and can submit it immediately."
Pulling back from his embrace, she wiped the corners of her eyes. "Then... I'll head back first. Don't overwork yourself."
Dominic offered a curt nod.
Cynthia turned and walked out the door.
Dominic rubbed his temples, his face darkening like a gathering storm.
He ordered his assistant to pull the security footage.
The assistant quickly delivered the copied files to Dominic's hands.
Dominic watched it frame by frame.
The footage wasn't perfectly seamless—a few sections had clearly been tampered with—but the overall sequence of events was undeniable.
His mother had orchestrated the entire thing!
She had tried to drug Seraphina, but Seraphina had swapped their glasses, causing him to drink the spiked beverage instead.
Worse yet, Cynthia had also brought him a glass of water, and he couldn't fathom why she would do such a thing.
After downing both drinks, he had completely lost control, nearly devouring Cynthia alive.
