Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 243

Dominic stormed downstairs with a thunderous expression, heading straight for the main hall.

Winifred looked at her son with extreme embarrassment, just opening her mouth to speak.

With a violent sweep of his arm, Dominic sent all the coffee cups and fruit platters crashing from the coffee table.

The sound of shattering porcelain echoed through the room.

Terrified, Winifred practically jumped off the sofa. "Have you lost your mind!"

Dominic glared at her coldly. "I am losing my mind. Anyone with a mother like you would go crazy."

He took a menacing step forward. "Why did you drug Seraphina? If she actually slept with another man, it would have been a scandal for the entire Lockwood family. Why would you do that!"

Winifred stiffened and looked away. "I have no idea what you're talking about."

"No idea?" Dominic sneered. "You had someone bring that glass of orange juice to her room, and you're telling me you have no idea?"

Winifred choked, then stubbornly raised her chin. "I did it for your own good! If she really slept around, you would have a legitimate reason to divorce her! It would stop her from taking half your assets!"

Dominic was furious. "Taking half my assets is her legal right. Drugging her and ruining her reputation is a crime."

"You're lucky she doesn't have the evidence right now, or she could absolutely press charges against you."

"If any of this gets out, you'll be the one behind bars!"

Winifred fell silent, clutching her hands as all the color drained from her face.

Dominic took a deep breath. "Don't ever pull a stunt like this again."

Just as he finished speaking, his phone vibrated.

He glanced down. It was a message from Seraphina with a zip file attached.

He tapped to open it.

It was undeniable proof of everything that had transpired today!

Both the photos and the videos were crystal clear.

Dominic's grip on his phone tightened. He spun around and viciously kicked over a nearby plant stand.

His expression grew even darker, his voice turning lethally cold. "You poisoned my grandmother?"

Winifred's face contorted in sheer panic. "N-no, I didn't! What bastard is trying to frame me!"

"Enough!" Dominic hurled his phone onto the floor. "She laid out the entire chain of evidence, and you're still lying to my face!"

Winifred stood paralyzed in shock. "How... how could she do this..."

Just then, a maid ran in, her face pale with panic. "Sir, Madam, the police are here. They said they're looking for Mrs. Lockwood."

"What?" Winifred's legs gave out, and she collapsed back onto the sofa.

The officers quickly entered, flashed their badges, and professionally escorted Winifred out of the house.

As she was dragged away, Winifred kept looking back and screaming, "Dominic! Save me! Dominic!"

Dominic pinched the bridge of his nose and let out a heavy, exhausted sigh.

For the next few days, Seraphina enjoyed absolute peace and quiet.
