Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 244

Dominic was busy bailing his mother out, suppressing the evidence, and begging his grandmother to intervene.

For the sake of the family's reputation, Beatrice Cole chose to pardon Winifred.

In the end, Mrs. Lloyd took the fall for everything.

As the primary culprit, Mrs. Lloyd went to prison, and Winifred was released after just three days in lockup.

When Seraphina heard the news, she was entirely unfazed.

She had anticipated this from the start. Dominic would never let his mother actually go to prison.

But she didn't care. Putting Winifred behind bars had never been her true goal.

All she wanted was a divorce.

As for Winifred, giving her a terrifying wake-up call was satisfying enough.

Upon her release, Winifred was enraged, screaming about wanting to kill Seraphina.

At that moment, Dominic received a photo from his assistant. It was a court summons.

Seraphina had officially filed for a divorce lawsuit!

"Shut up!" Dominic snapped at his mother. "Seraphina is suing me for divorce."

Winifred froze in her tracks, completely and utterly stunned.

"How dare she!" she hissed through gritted teeth.

Dominic closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

After a long moment, he opened them and stared at Winifred, enunciating every word. "Do not provoke Seraphina again. You are out of her league. I had to pull every major string I have just to get you out this time. If you cause any more trouble, you can go back to a cell and rot there!"

Winifred bit her lip hard. She was furious, but she finally went quiet.

Dominic turned to his men. "Take my mother back to The Fernwood Estate. Do not let her leave unless absolutely necessary."

Winifred's eyes widened. "Dominic, are you putting me under house arrest?!"

His tone was as arrogant and condescending as ever.

"We have nothing to talk about. I have to go to work. Please move."

Dominic didn't budge. "Stop throwing a tantrum, Seraphina. Delete the videos, and we can pretend none of this ever happened. I'll even raise your compensation to sixty billion dollars."

Seraphina let out a soft laugh. "I won't delete the videos, and I've already submitted them, so they can't be deleted anyway. If you have anything else to say, say it in court."

Dominic's eyes darkened. "Do you really think a few videos give you the leverage to threaten me? I'm telling you right now, you can't change a single thing."

Seraphina scoffed. "Oh, I know. Even if I released the videos to the public, you wouldn't care. Men like you think it's perfectly normal to cheat on your wife and keep a mistress. So many men in your circles do it, so naturally, you feel entitled to do the same."

"Even if you elevated your mistress to a wife, no one would dare breathe a word against you."

Dominic's face turned thunderous. "Stop calling her a mistress. Cynthia is nothing of the sort."

Seraphina sneered dismissively. "Right, right, she's your true love. In that case, Mr. Lockwood, please sign the papers quickly. It's only five hundred billion dollars. Throwing away billions for true love would make for a fantastic romantic legend. So why are you here arguing with me every day?"

Dominic's pupils constricted. "What five hundred billion?"
