Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 262

He wore a school badge on his chest, indicating he was the principal of a renowned domestic music academy.

The principal extended his hand to Dominic. "Mr. Lockwood, I was just looking for an opportunity to thank you in person. Our school received your generous donation a few days ago, and construction on the children's new music classroom has already begun. The entire faculty and student body asked me to convey their deepest gratitude."

Chelsea raised an eyebrow.

Was this guy here to rescue Dominic from his embarrassment?

Sure enough, Dominic's expression relaxed significantly.

He shook the principal's hand, regaining his composure. "You're too kind, President Zeller. Truthfully, it wasn't my idea."

He cast a fond look at Cynthia. "It was Cynthia who brought it up. She said it was a shame the children didn't even have a decent music room. I only provided the funds; she is the one who truly cares."

President Zeller beamed with praise. "Mr. Lockwood's generosity and Ms. Ross's compassion make you a truly rare and perfect couple. It's incredibly promising to see someone as young as Ms. Ross possess such a strong sense of social responsibility."

Cynthia's cheeks flushed slightly, the previous gloom instantly swept away.

"You flatter me, President Zeller. I only did what little I could. Musical education needs to start from a young age, and providing the children with a good environment is more important than anything."

As her words fell, many people in the surrounding crowd nodded approvingly, looking at her with newfound admiration.

Cynthia's posture instinctively straightened, and she shot a subtle, sidelong glance in Seraphina's direction.

Chelsea's face looked stormy enough to rival a thundercloud.

She was just about to speak when she caught sight of a figure moving through the crowd at the far end of the hall.

Tall, elegant, and pacing with absolute poise—it was Ethan.

Chelsea instantly clamped her mouth shut.

She grabbed Seraphina's wrist. "Go, go, go. Hurry."

Seraphina stumbled slightly as she was pulled along. "What's wrong?"

"Ethan is coming over. I do not want him catching me arguing with people."

Without looking back, Chelsea dragged her into a secluded corner.

She patted her chest in relief. "That scared me to death. If he caught me picking a fight at an event like this, he would definitely lecture me later."

Dominic extended a hand. "Maestro Harrington, it's been a while."

Ethan shook it out of mere courtesy. "You're too kind, Mr. Lockwood. Welcome."

Even in his polite greeting, a clear sense of distance lingered in his tone.

Cynthia stood at Dominic's side, flashing a gentle, dignified smile. "Maestro Harrington, I've heard so much about you. It's truly an honor to finally meet you in person today."

Ethan gave a brief nod, offering a polite reply. "Hello, Ms. Ross."

Cynthia's smugness was practically overflowing.

She tilted her chin up, shooting a provocative smile toward Seraphina's corner.

Ethan had greeted her personally, while those two were forced to skulk in the shadows like mice.

They couldn't even begin to compare to her.
