Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 324

She took a deep breath, forcing down the violent surge of anger in her chest, and gently touched Dominic's arm. "Dominic, don't take Mr. Spencer's words to heart. The two of you have been friends for so many years. He would never say those things if he hadn't been manipulated."

She let out a dramatic sigh.

"It really just comes down to Seraphina... she is far too good at seducing people. Ordinary men stand no chance against her tricks."

Dominic turned his head to look at her, his brows knitting together.

Cynthia forced a bright smile onto her face. "Never mind, let's not think about this anymore. It's still early, why don't we go shopping?"

As she spoke, she tilted her head deliberately, exposing the cheek still marked by red, inflamed skin.

She layered on an expression of deep grievance. She had suffered so much today—insulted by Tristan and slapped by Seraphina. Normally, Dominic's heart would have ached for her, and he would have immediately whisked her away to a luxury boutique, showering her with gifts to cheer her up.

She squeezed her hands together, the fire in her chest burning hotter and hotter, yet she had no choice but to forcefully suppress it.

Halfway through the drive, Dominic's phone rang.

He glanced down at the screen and answered.

"Mr. Lockwood, the newly hired nutritionist team had their trial run today. The five nutritionists jointly created the first menu. The young lady finished almost all of it without being picky, and there were no adverse reactions."

Dominic gave a hum of acknowledgment, his expression softening slightly. "Tell them to take good care of Lily. As long as Lily's nutritional needs are met, money is no object."

"Understood, Mr. Lockwood."

He hung up and lowered his phone, the heavy gloom between his brows easing up just a fraction.

Ever since his daughter was diagnosed with anemia and Seraphina had torn him a new one, he had taken the matter very seriously.

He had his people search high and low before finally poaching this top-tier nutritionist team. From the sound of it, the results were proving to be quite effective.

If Seraphina knew, she would probably be happy.

Seraphina...
