Before she could finish her sentence, a heavy hood was shoved over her head from behind, plunging her vision into instant darkness as stale air suffocated her.

"Ah! Who is it?!"

She screamed, but the sound was muffled violently against the thick canvas of the bag, as if an invisible hand were crushing her windpipe.

"Help! Somebody help! Let me go!"

Before the second plea could fully leave her mouth, a brutal kick slammed into the back of her calf.

She pitched forward, her knees slamming painfully onto the concrete. A muffled shriek ripped from her throat.

Before she could even gasp for air, a heavy baton crashed into her lower back.

She curled inward, her voice trembling with sheer terror. "I'll ruin you! Do you have any idea who I am..."

Her threat was instantly cut off by a vicious slap across her face through the fabric. The force was staggering, sending a violent shudder through her entire body.

She was rendered completely speechless. Finally, a brutal kick to her hip sent her sliding across the harsh pavement. She collapsed heavily, let out a final, pained groan, and stopped moving entirely.

Her attacker disappeared into the shadows.

Moments later, a few streets away.

Lauren was humming a cheerful tune as she turned the corner into a narrow alley. Without warning, a heavy bag dropped over her head.

She thrashed wildly, screaming, "Who's there?! Do you have a death wish?! I swear to God I'll—"

The next second, a perfectly placed kick slammed into the back of her knee. She crashed down instantly, and a heavy baton struck her lower back, forcing her to curl into a tight ball.

"Ah! Stop!"

The baton rained down relentlessly on her shoulder blades, each strike more punishing than the last.

She broke down sobbing, her voice hoarse and broken. "Stop... I'm sorry... please stop..."

But the attacker didn't hesitate, methodically striking every nerve-rich area for maximum agony.
