Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 369

Seraphina froze, looking up at him in shock.

"Isn't Orca expanding into the medical sector?"

Gideon slipped his hands into his coat pockets. "Gynecology and pediatrics were your earliest focal points. You can use this hospital as a primary clinical hub. The data will feed directly into your R&D pipelines, bypassing a mountain of red tape. Just do what you need to do. Don't worry about the costs."

She stared at him for a second before giving a slow nod. "Alright. Thank you."

He didn't linger on the subject, turning and walking out of the room.

The following morning, a soft knock sounded at the door.

Seraphina looked up to see Dominic standing at the threshold.

He didn't step inside, lingering by the doorframe with a bouquet of flowers in hand.

"I'm here to apologize."

His voice was low, likely out of sheer embarrassment. "What happened yesterday was completely my mother's fault. I've already spoken to her; she won't ever come back to bother you."

She kept wiping Lily's hands, ignoring him entirely.

Taking the hint, he walked in on his own, placed the flowers on the nightstand, and glanced at his daughter, his eyes softening slightly.

He stood in silence for a moment before clearing his throat. "About The SmartCare Initiative... if you're open to considering it, Lockwood's has incredibly established channels in elderly and pediatric care. I can offer you the best possible terms. Plus, Lily could benefit from it directly—it acts as both a caretaker and a bodyguard. You'd never have to worry about unwanted visitors getting near her."

She kept scrubbing, acting as though he were completely invisible.

He waited a few seconds, preparing to try again.

Just then, Lily's fingers twitched.

Seraphina's movements halted as she snapped her gaze downward.

The little girl's eyelashes fluttered rapidly before she slowly peeled her eyes open.

"Mommy..."

"Daddy..."

Hearing the sweet, tiny voice she had been praying for, tears instantly welled in Seraphina's eyes.

She leaned down, sweeping her daughter into a fierce hug, her voice trembling violently. "Mommy's here. I'm right here."

A tiny hand slipped out from under the blankets, loosely grabbing her shirt collar. "Mommy, everything you did... I knew. Talking to me every day, playing music, holding my hand... I knew it all."
