Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 374

His throat tightened as he finished his sentence.

Seraphina's gaze fell to the document, pausing for a few seconds.

Was he playing the emotional card?

Still, his words had indeed struck a chord with her.

She nodded, reaching out to close the proposal. Her tone was neutral, betraying no emotion. "Alright, I'll think about it."

Even though she hadn't agreed yet, just hearing her say she'd "think about it" made Dominic breathe an involuntary sigh of relief.

Pushing down the swirling emotions in his chest, he kept his voice as steady as possible. "Are you free tomorrow? We can head to the office to discuss the specific terms. The venue and equipment are all ready. You're welcome to do a site visit."

Seraphina considered it for a moment, then nodded. "Fine."

Just one word—crisp, decisive, and entirely devoid of hesitation.

Dominic looked at her, suddenly at a loss for words.

Her gaze remained placid, her back perfectly straight. When she spoke, she didn't shy away, exuding an aura of absolute confidence and composure.

She was a world away from the Seraphina who used to cower in the kitchen, scrubbing the stovetop with her head bowed.

Just then, Dr. Lawrence pushed the door open.

"Ms. Sinclair, the child is recovering wonderfully. All her vitals are perfect. You can process her discharge paperwork today."

Seraphina's eyes lit up. "Really?"

"Really."

The doctor nodded with a smile. "Just make sure she rests at home, keeps a light diet, and comes in for her follow-ups on time."

Lily practically bounced off the bed. "Mommy! I can go home!"

Seraphina looked down at her, a smile touching her lips. "Yes, we're going home."
