Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 389

Early the next morning, when Seraphina woke up, Lily and Phoebe were already awake.

The two of them were huddled under the covers, whispering about something. Seeing her open her eyes, they both flashed her brilliant smiles.

After attending the ceremony and wrapping up the final details, Seraphina led Lily to the school gates.

Mr. Zhang stood by the road with all the teachers and students, lined up neatly. The little girls at the very front held a bouquet of wildflowers.

"President Sinclair!"

Mr. Zhang took two steps forward, his voice tight with emotion. "Rest assured, we will build this school well and educate these children properly!"

Seraphina accepted the wildflowers and lowered her head to smell them. "I believe you."

Behind him, the children shouted in unison, "Thank you, President Sinclair!"

Lily waved at them, then shouted to the girl in the patched dress in the crowd, "Next time I come, I'll bring you a dress!"

By the time they drove into downtown Northport, dusk was already settling in.

Seraphina pulled up to the agreed-upon intersection, turned off the engine, unbuckled her seatbelt, and glanced back at Lily.

"We're here."

Lily had been dozing against the window, but her eyes fluttered open at the words. She peered outside, the sleepiness instantly fading from her small face.

Across the street, Dominic stood on the curb.

Beside him, Cynthia clung tightly to his arm, wearing a gentle, submissive smile.

The moment Lily's eyes landed on Cynthia, her little face visibly darkened.

Seraphina pushed open her door, stepped out, and walked around to open the rear door for her daughter.

Lily dragged her feet as she climbed out. Her face was tight, and without so much as a glance at Cynthia, she simply called out, "Dad."
