Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 447

Cynthia walked out of The Lockwood Group building, her fists clenched tightly.

Whenever she used to visit, she was always surrounded by people fawning over her.

She could come whenever she wanted and stay for as long as she pleased.

The assistants would bring her favorite coffee, and the staff would shower her with compliments and treats.

Everyone in the entire company treated her with the utmost reverence.

But now?

She had simply brought him lunch.

The way that assistant looked at her made it obvious they were just waiting for her to leave.

Cynthia bit her lower lip.

It didn't matter.

She just had poor timing. Dominic was working.

Business came first; she understood that.

She would go home and wait. She could always wait him out.

Cynthia tossed her phone into her purse, got into her car, and drove home.

...

Back on the top floor.

After Cynthia left, Dominic pressed the intercom and summoned his assistant back.

The assistant knocked and quickly re-entered, resuming the report.

"Mr. Lockwood, we also received feedback from Orca Materials."

"The prototype test data for the second-generation caregiver robot is out, and Orca provided thirteen suggestions for improvement."

The assistant handed over a tablet.

Dominic took it, read through the notes, and ordered the assistant to implement every single one of Orca's suggestions.

The assistant nodded and jotted it down.

"There's one more thing."

"Orca is preparing an independent team line and might want to fully integrate their squad for future phases. They asked for your opinion on the matter."

Dominic's eyes instantly lit up.

"Give Orca full authority. They call the shots."

The assistant nodded. "Understood."

Dominic picked up the tablet again, scrolling through the technical documents sent by Orca, his finger gliding across the screen.

"Sync a copy of all these files directly to my personal drive."

"Yes, sir."

The assistant stepped out.

As the door closed, Dominic stared at the data on the screen, the deep crease between his brows slowly smoothing out.

...

At Laurel Heights.
