Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 530

Forget it.

As long as she was doing well now, there was no need to intrude on her life anymore.

...

That afternoon, by the time Dominic finished his work at the company, it was already dusk.

He rubbed his throbbing temples, got up, and left the office.

His driver had an unexpected emergency, so he decided to drive himself home.

Not long after pulling out of the company garage, the sky gradually darkened, and the traffic thinned out.

Dominic was just passing through an intersection when out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a car suddenly swerve and accelerate aggressively, barreling straight toward him with absolute disregard for anything else!

His pupils shrank violently.

Damn it!

The other car was moving at terrifying speed and showed zero signs of braking. The driver was clearly aiming right for him!

Dominic reacted instantly. The moment he registered the threat, he yanked the steering wheel hard and slammed on the brakes.

The ear-piercing screech of tires tore through the quiet street.

Crash!

The two cars narrowly missed a head-on collision. The black sedan smashed violently into the roadside barrier, while Dominic's aggressive evasive maneuver caused the side of his car to scrape heavily against the guardrail.

The massive impact jolted him hard. The back of his hand scraped against the interior, tearing off a large patch of skin, and blood immediately seeped out.

Thankfully, his rapid reflexes had spared him from any serious injuries.

Dominic steadied himself, his expression turning downright lethal.

That was no ordinary traffic accident.

He had seen it clearly. Just before impact, the other driver had deliberately adjusted their trajectory. They were actively trying to kill him.

Right then, the screech of another set of brakes echoed from behind.

"Mr. Lockwood!"

Tobias Reed had been driving behind him. Seeing the black sedan suddenly ambush Dominic's car had nearly given him a heart attack.

Seeing Dominic step out of the car in one piece, Tobias finally let out a shaky breath and rushed over with the security detail.

"Mr. Lockwood, are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?"

"I'm fine. Just a scrape."

Dominic glanced dismissively at the back of his hand before fixing his gaze on the wrecked black sedan.

"Apprehend him."

"Yes, sir!"

Tobias didn't waste a second, immediately leading the bodyguards forward.

The car had taken a massive hit, yet the man in the driver's seat was still struggling to escape.

Seeing people approaching, he violently kicked the door open and tried to sprint away.

But before he could make it more than a few steps, two bodyguards tackled him to the ground, pinning him from both sides.
