Chapter 183 ( Just Keep Going
Chapter 183 I’ll Just Keep Going
Wayne thought he heard Chiara’s voice and turned to look, but Chiara was nowhere to be seen.
Just as Wayne was about to go and look for her, his friend grabbed his arm.
“Where are you going?” his friend asked.
“I’ll talk to you later. I need to go and find someone,” Wayne replied.
“Looking for Titus’s ex-wife, huh?” his friend teased.
Wayne shot him a look, and his friend continued, “They just left together. They’re exes, and they even have a kid. What are you supposed to do? You don’t have any standing here, do you?”
That actually made Wayne stop in his tracks.
His friend had a point. What was he, really, in all this?
Chiara frowned as Titus dragged her aside. “Titus, let go of me! What are you trying to do?”
Titus cornered her against the wall, lifting her chin. “I should be asking you. What are you up to?”
Chiara was thrown off by his question, but she held her temper. “What’s your problem?”
“Do you even know what day it is today?” Titus pressed.
“It’s Halinston University’s anniversary party. So what?” Chiara shot back.
“So you know exactly who’s here today, and you’re already dying to hook up with Wayne?” Titus said, his tone sharp.
Chiara took a deep breath, trying to keep her voice steady.
“Wayne and I are just friends. Besides, I came here with Heather,” she said.
“So what is Wayne, your knight in shining armor or just your lapdog?” Titus shot back.
Chiara’s face darkened. “Titus, watch your mouth!”
After watching her with someone else for so long, Titus’s eyes grew dark and intense. Suddenly, he leaned in and kissed her hard.
Chiara’s eyes went wide in shock. She tried to dodge, but he pinned her firmly against the wall.
“You wouldn’t… Mmph!” Chiara tried to protest, but Titus silenced her with his kiss.
It turned out that Titus dared.
He’d meant to play the long game, slowly turning up the heat.
But Chiara was just icy. He couldn’t warm her up.
Besides, his patience only held up when there weren’t other guys buzzing around her.
Titus kissed her deeply, not holding back for a second.
Chiara kept hitting his arms, but even when her hands started to hurt, he didn’t move an inch.
Chiara’s eyes were full of fury as she tried to kick him, but Titus held her back.
“Where do you think you’re aiming? Going for the kill, huh?” Titus said with a sneer.
Chiara’s lips were flushed from the kiss, her eyes blazing with anger. Whatever calm she had left was gone in a flash.
“Get off me!” Chiara snapped, her voice sharp and furious.
“I’m not going anywhere,” Titus retorted, refusing to budge.
Chiara tried to break free, but Titus kept her pinned firmly against the wall.
Scoring that kiss seemed to put Titus in a way better mood.
“Marry me again,” Titus said, his voice low and insistent.
Chiara was so pissed off by how shameless he was, her chest rising and falling with anger as she gritted her teeth. “Let me make this clear. Even if every man on earth dropped dead, I’d never get back with you, you jerk! Let go of me. Do you hear me?” she snapped.
Titus looked at her fiery, furious face, feeling a strange childe Quat alle more kiss, then I’ll let you go.”
Successfully unlocked!
Chiara’s face darkened, her eyes blazing as she glared at in this, dok make me curse you out!”
Titus curled his lips into a smirk, clearly enjoying himself. “Go on, let’s hear it.”
Chapter 183 II Just Keep Going
Chiara glared at him, icy and furious.
Titus locked his gaze on her, eyes dark with longing. He missed her so much it hurt.
His eyes grew even darker. “If you don’t curse me out, I am not stopping.”
‘Not stopping with what?’ Chiara wondered, her heart pounding.
Obviously, he meant he’d just keep kissing her.
Chiara fought back with all she had, but she didn’t dare yell for help.
“Stay still!” Titus ordered.
Like Chiara would ever listen to him.
“Titus!” Chiara snapped.
Titus let out a low cough, clearly caught off guard.
“Stay still. Let me calm down for a second,” Titus muttered.
Chiara was so mad her breathing was coming in short, angry bursts.
“Are you some kind of animal?” she snapped.
Titus actually looked a little embarrassed for once. He leaned in close, whispering in her ear, “You gotta understand me, okay? It’s been over two years, you know.”
Chiara turned her head away, refusing to look at him. There was no way she was buying that.
“That’s your problem. Let go of me. Do you hear me?” she snapped.
“You really want me to walk out of here like this?” Titus shot back.
Chiara gritted her teeth. “Serves you right!”
“Well, maybe you should help me out…” Titus teased, his voice low and suggestive.
Chiara’s brow twitched as she whipped her head around to glare at him. As if he dared say another word, she’d drag him down with her.
Yeah, if she was going down, she was dragging him with her. No way she’d let him off easy.
