Chapter 199 Don’t Be So Rough
Chapter 199 Don’t Be So Rough
Even though Titus could guess what Chiara was planning, he couldn’t take it anymore. He was done holding back.
Only God knows how he survived these hellish two weeks.
Having her so close yet out of reach was enough to drive any guy insane.
He wasn’t going to wait any longer. Tonight, it was happening.
He was going to make her his again tonight.
Everything went smoothly, and it all felt so natural.
Chiara had been comforted by Titus every day, but when the moment finally came, she realized it was nothing like before.
At least Titus got one thing right.
She really did make up her mind.
“That’s enough. Seriously, I’m done,” Chiara said.
Titus stared at her for a long moment, his eyes dark and intense, before finally laying down beside her, cooling off. Chiara turned her head away, not wanting to look at him, and reached for a pillow to prop up her lower back. Titus watched her move, his eyes flashing with something unreadable. His voice was low and husky.
“You really think that’ll help? Maybe we should try again, just to be sure,” he teased.
Chiara clenched her fists, barely holding back the urge to punch him. She gritted her teeth and snapped, “Shut up.” Titus arched his brow, and for once, his usual poker face was tinged with a faint blush, sparking all kinds of thoughts. They lay in bed for a long time, and Titus turned toward her, clearly wanting a kiss.
“Don’t touch me,” Chiara cut him off before he could get close.
Titus frowned, lips pressed into a thin line. “Now you’re done with me, huh? Just using me and kicking me to the curb?” Chiara kept her eyes tightly shut. She looked a little messy, but honestly, she didn’t seem bothered at all.
“Yeah,” she said, not even hesitating.
For them, it was just about the act, no strings, no cuddling after. That kind of tenderness wasn’t their style, and she didn’t want it anyway.
Titus propped his head up on his hand, quietly watching her. Even if she was just using him, he didn’t mind one bit.
Hell, he’d lost count of how many times he’d dreamed about this exact scene.
“So, what do you think. Are we having a boy or a girl this time?” Titus asked, sounding casual.
Chiara’s eyelids fluttered. She wished for a girl, but thinking about both families, a boy would probably be better.
It’s best if each family has their own heir.
That way, Ryan could take over the Lynch family someday.
“A boy,” Chiara replied.
Titus was genuinely surprised, a small smirk playing on his lips as he spoke in that deep voice, “Honestly, I thought you’d want a girl.”
“Boy works for me. Ryan’s going to take over the Lynch family one day,” Chiara said.
She laid it out with zero hesitation, purely business, not an ounce of personal emotion in her words.
Titus’s smile froze for a second.
Chiara slowly opened her eyes, moved the pillow away, and got out of bed. She picked up her nightgown from the floor and slipped it on.
Then she glanced back at Titus, who was already sitting up in bed.
“If I really want a daughter, I could just have another one,” she said.
Titus’s face instantly clouded over. His dark eyes locked onto her, his voice tight and controlled.
“And who would you have her with?” he shot b
Chiara paused, actually thinking it over before

have a little mixed princess…” she said.
She watched Titus’s face grow darker and darker, a faint smirk tugging at her lips before she turned and walked away. Titus just watched her leave, a wry smile tugging at his lips.
‘Damn, she really made it feel like she just came over to use me and then left without even bothering with the aftercare, he thought.
Titus closed his eyes, his chest rising and falling. He was actually pissed off. She really knew how to get under his skin.
“Heh, your mouth is getting more savage every day…” he muttered.
Titus threw off the covers, got out of bed, and picked up the phone. “Come up and change the sheets,” he called out. After hanging up, he headed straight for the bathroom.
Lindsay came in with fresh sheets, glanced at the messy bed, and quickly looked away.
She’d done this plenty of times before, but she hadn’t had to do it in a while, so it felt a bit weird suddenly having to again.
She opened the window, then quickly stripped off the old sheets and put on the new ones.
Titus just took a quick shower and came out. Lindsay turned to look at him, hugging the crumpled sheets to her chest.
“Take it easy on Mrs. Goodman, will you? Don’t be so rough with her,” Lindsay said.
Just one look at the sheets and Lindsay could tell how wild things had gotten, so she couldn’t help but complain under her breath.
“Honestly, aren’t you a bit old for all this? Still got so much energy, huh?” she muttered.
Still mumbling to herself, she turned and left, not caring one bit about Titus’s reaction.
