Chapter 252
“Kason, what secrefs are you whispering to your wife? Quit being all lovey dovey and come hang out with us one of the guys teased.
None of these guys were married. If they weren’t making money, they were out partying
Wives didn’t mean much to them, just the ones who had the legal right to bear their kids.
Kason shot his friends a look and nudged Heather forward. “She’s yours for now. You guys decide what you want to do
Heather froze, her hands balling into fists, but she didn’t look back at him.
Instead, she turned her attention to the group of guys.
The guys whistled excitedly, unable to hide their anticipation.
“Kason, you for real? We can have any kind of fun we want with her?” one of them called out.
His words hung in the air, heavy with implication.
Heather fought to keep her emotions in check, her face cold as ice as she stared them down.
“So, what kind of fun do you guys have in mind?” she asked, her tone cool and unflinching.
The guys exchanged glances, and one of them flipped the cards in his hand.
“Let’s play this. Simple rules, highest card up to ten wins,” he said.
Heather nodded. “Alright.”
“The loser has to take a penalty. Kason, are you really willing to let her take the hit?” one of the guys teased.
Kason’s gaze lingered on Heather, but she kept her eyes forward, refusing to look back at him.
He just shrugged, totally unfazed. “Like I said, as long as you guys are having fun, why would I mind?”
The moment Heather walked into the private room, she could already tell what Kason was up to, putting her on the spot, maybe even trying to make her beg for help.
But she refused to play along. Some lines just couldn’t be crossed.
“You guys are the guests, so you go first,” Heather said, keeping her cool and steady, refusing to let her nerves show.
‘It’s just booze,’ Heather thought to herself. ‘As long as I don’t drink myself under the table tonight, I’ll make it through.
One of the guys let out a sharp whistle, gave Heather a big thumbs-up, grinning at her with his eyes glued to her.
Compared to all the other beauties in the room, Heather was hands down the most stunning and eye-catching one there.
Someone couldn’t help but swallow hard, then gave Kason a sly wink and a nudge,
“Kason, your wife is seriously gorgeous. You’ve got great taste, man. Just looking at her makes me itch all over. No wonder you locked her down and kept her all to yourself…” he teased.
He didn’t care if Heather heard. He was blunt and didn’t bother to lower his voice.
But Heather didn’t even bat an eye, as if she hadn’t heard a word.
She blocked out all the crude remarks, completely unfazed.

Chapter 252
Heather kept losing round after round. Cards just weren’t really her thing. But she didn’t try to weasel out of it, she took her punishment like a champ and knocked back three shots in a row, not even flinching.
The guys couldn’t take their eyes off her, and one of the blond guys even sidled up close, unable to resist getting near.
“Ms. Lynch, you’re really stunning and magnetic…” he said, leaning in and taking a deep sniff, making it obvious he was drawn to her.
Heather tensed up, but didn’t react. She kept her composure.
She knew Kason was right behind her, watching her every move.
Seeing how stubborn Heather was, losing but refusing to ask for help, Kason just gave a cold smirk and motioned for one of the women in the room to come over.
The woman instantly got up and walked over to Kason.
“Did you call for me, Mr. Goodman?” she asked.
“Pour us some drinks,” Kason said coolly.
“Of course, Mr. Goodman…” she replied.
While the chatter continued behind her, Heather flipped her cards over once more.
As expected, she lost again. She could already guess why. These guys were total card sharks, and she was just a newbie.
No wonder she kept losing; going up against a bunch of seasoned gamblers, she never stood a chance.
So when Heather was about to take her fourth shot, the guy next to her suddenly grabbed her wrist to stop her.
Heather tried to pull away, but he held on tight, so she looked up at him instead.
With a spark of interest in his eyes, the guy grinned, “Tell you what, Ms. Lynch. Why not show us a dance? Skip the drink if you do.”
“Oh, now that’s a great idea!” one of the guys chimed in.
“Me too! I’m totally on board!” another guy jumped in.
The guy leaned in so close, practically drinking her in. The more he looked, the more he liked what he saw. He let out a dramatic sigh, totally unable to hide his interest.
“Kason’s got great taste, seriously. Ms. Lynch, if you’re not up for another drink or a dance, how about a kiss instead? Your pick,” he said.
As soon as he said that, the rest of the guys grinned, looking like they couldn’t wait to see what would happen next.
They’d been bored of their usual partner-swapping games, but tonight, their interest was definitely sparked all over again.
Kason held his glass, eyes fixed on Heather’s back, a sly glint in his gaze as he waited to see which option she’d go for.
Just as he was sure she’d reach for the drink, Heather surprised everyone by suddenly getting to her feet.
Against all his expectations, Heather didn’t go for the drink. She chose to dance instead.
Heather shrugged off her jacket, putting her bare, creamy back on full display for the whole room.
“Whoa, she’s insanely beautiful…” one of the guys breathed.

Chapter 252
“Damn, what am I Supposed to do? I’m actually jealous of Kason now,” another guy joked.
Kason’s eyes narrowed, a smoldering look settling on Heather as he watched her every move.
She didn’t skip the drink because she wanted to. Those drinks were way too hardcore for her taste.
Her stomach was on fire, and she could feel the discomfort creeping in.
She had no choice but to go with the dance.
Besides, after knocking back three shots, the booze was already kicking in.
With a light, graceful step, Heather made her way over to the silver pole, the one set up for the showgirls to perform. She reached out and gripped it, her touch confident and unwavering.
She glanced back, picked a song at random, and started circling the pole, her hips rolling as her body began to move with the music.
The moment Heather started her dance, Kason’s expression turned stormy. He clenched his glass so tightly his knuckles went pale, his eyes fixed on her with a cold, intense stare.
Under the dim lights, Heather was a total knockout in her backless, curve-hugging dress. Her long legs, barely hidden by the silk, and that slender waist moved with a hypnotic grace as she danced.
There was a faint, teasing smile on her lips, and her eyes, half-lidded and just a little bit mocking, swept over the guys. In that moment, every single person in the room was hooked; nobody could look away from her.
