Chapter 253
Let go of me, it hurts!” she cried out.
Kason looked into her glassy, red eyes. He knew Heather wasn’t the type to cry over something like this, but for some reason, seeing her like that made his grip unconsciously soften.
Heather wasn’t actually about to cry. It was just the alcohol messing with her head.
Her face was flushed, and her eyes were glassy and red too.
She stared at the man in front of her for a long moment before she suddenly realized who he was.
Then, with a sudden tilt of her head, she bit down hard on the fleshy part between Kason’s thumb and index finger.
“Hiss!” Kason sucked in a breath, caught off guard.
He tried to pull her away, but when Heather looked up and met his eyes, his hand froze in mid-air.
He let her keep biting him, seeing the resentment, maybe even a hint of hatred, burning in her eyes.
“Ha! Kason, turns out your wife’s a real wildcat!” one of the guys called out.
Kason’s face was thunderous, his eyes cold and shadowed as he locked his gaze on Heather.
“Let go!” he snapped.
“Oh!” But Heather only bit down harder, like she was afraid to lose her grip on his hand.
Kason’s expression was pitch-black, his stare heavy and unyielding. He clamped his palm to the back of her head, warning her in a chilling voice.
“So you’re not letting go, huh?” he threatened, voice cold as ice.
Heather just bit down harder, like, ‘What are you gonna do about it?’
Kason let out a cold laugh, his fingers digging into her scalp as he tightened his grip on her hair.
Heather’s head was yanked back, but she still refused to let go, no matter how much it hurt.
Even with her brows knitted in pain and her eyes squeezed shut, she wouldn’t release her bite.
Kason leaned in close, his voice cold as ice. “Heather, this is your last warning. Let go, or don’t blame me if I get nasty. You hear me?”
Hearing his threat, Heather’s mind snapped back to those things that happened on the island.
Her temper flared, and she bit down even harder, the metallic taste of blood spreading through her mouth.
Her teeth sank in, piercing his skin.
Kason’s forehead veins throbbed as he watched Heather vent her fury on him. He turned to the guys who were enjoying the spectacle.
“You guys head out. The hotel rooms are ready for you,” he said.
The guys shared a look and smirked.
One by one, they left the private room, each with a girl on each arm.
“Looks like Kason’s about to teach his woman a lesson,” one of them joked.

Chapter 253
Once everyone had cleared out of the private room, Kason moved in close to Heather, pushing her hair aside from her ear and murmured darkly.
“Then don’t blame me for what comes next…”
When the door to the private room swung open again, Kason was carrying Heather out in his arms.
Her long dress now looked more like a mini skirt, the bottom half clearly ripped off in a hurry.
Her pale arm, dangling weakly from under the suit, was streaked with fresh marks.
Kason, on the other hand, still looked perfectly put together, though his hair at the temples was damp with sweat.
Robyn rushed over and saw the scene. She couldn’t see Heather’s face at all. Her face was completely buried in Kason’s arms.
But that arm, hanging limp and covered in marks, was a shocking sight.
Robyn’s heart skipped a beat as she hurried over.
“Heather?” Robyn called out.
Kason asked, “Why are you here?”
Robyn looked up at him. “I was waiting for you at the hotel, but only your buddies showed up. They said you and Heather were still here, so I came over to see what was going on.”
After saying that, she lowered her eyes and reached to pull back the suit jacket, trying to check on Heather.
But Kason stepped back, dodging her hand.
“What are you trying to see?” he asked.
Robyn pulled her hand back and stared at him. “Why’d you bring her to hang out with all your buddies? Who are those guys, and you…”
“What are you so afraid of? You think I’d let myself get played like that?” Kason/shot back.
Robyn was speechless.
“So what did you do to her?” Robyn pressed.
Kason arched an eyebrow, his eyes narrowing as memories of just moments ago flashed through his mind, his voice dropping to a husky growl.
“I did,” he replied.
“Did what…” Robyn began, but then realization dawned and her face turned ghostly pale.
Her gaze dropped to Heather’s fair legs, where distinct finger marks stood out starkly.
“Seriously? I know you get around, but when did you start ignoring the whole ‘right time, right place’ thing?” Robyn shot at
him.
Kason looked down at Heather, totally passed out in his arms, his voice dropping to a cold, serious tone.
