When She Ended It With Divorce (Chiara and Titus) novel Chapter 256

Chapter 256

“Do you want me to come with you guys?” Titus asked.

“No need, Heather’s with us. She’s coming along. That’s all. I’m hanging up now,” Chiara replied.

Chiara ended the call, scooped Ryan up, and got into Heather’s car.

The kindergarten was the most prestigious private international kindergarten in Halinston.

The kids there came from all corners of the globe.

That way, Ryan could get a bilingual education right from the start.

The principal of the kindergarten, Renee Palmer, greeted them personally.

“Ms. Chiara Lynch, Ms. Heather Lynch, Mr. Goodman just called to let me know you’d be coming. I’ll be giving you the tour myself. Please have some water,” Renee said.

“Thank you, Ms. Palmer. Kindly take us on the tour,” Chiara replied.

“Sure, follow me.”

The kindergarten was massive, with cameras positioned throughout the facility, Parents could log in and see what their kids were up to whenever they wanted.

There were no dangerous or pointy toys lying around, and even the chairs were designed to be totally safe.

Chiara just wanted to make sure Ryan wouldn’t get any scrapes or bruises while he was at school.

“Ms. Palmer, did Mr. Goodman let you know about Ryan’s situation?” Chiara asked.

“Absolutely, Mr. Goodman personally made sure I was aware. So don’t worry, Ms. Chiara Lynch.

“This is Ms. Larkin. She’ll be assigned just to Ryan. You and Mr. Goodman can relax. Ryan will be in good hands here. We’ll keep him safe, I promise,” Renee assured.

Chiara finally felt relieved. “Ms. Larkin, we’re counting on you to take care of Ryan.”

“No problem, please rest assured,” Sarah Larkin replied.

It was Ryan’s first time at the kindergarten, and he was totally thrilled to see all the toys and other kids.

To help Ryan adjust to the new environment, Sarah suggested that Chiara bring him in every day for a short class, so he could get familiar with his classmates and settle in more comfortably.

That way, when Ryan officially started school after the New Year, it’d be much easier for him to settle in.

He wouldn’t end up throwing a tantrum, crying for his parents, or insisting on going home.

Chiara sat quietly in the corner, watching as Ryan quickly made friends and started playing with the other kids. She pulled out her phone and snapped a quick video, sending it straight to Titus.

Almost instantly, Titus called her.

“Hello?” Chiara answered.

“Are you still at the kindergarten?” Titus asked.

“Yeah, Ryan’s having a blast. I’ll hang around for a bit longer.”

Chapter 256

“I watched the video you sent. Ryan is the most handsome kid in the whole class.”

Chiara was speechless. She couldn’t help but roll her eyes at how Titus was talking up his own kid like a classic proud dad,

She looked over at the group of little kids. There was even a biracial child and a few international kids in the mix.

Honestly, those international kids usually had some pretty standout looks. They always stood out as the cutest ones when they were little.

But when Ryan stood next to them, he didn’t lose out at all.

“So, are you trying to say he inherited his looks from you?” Chiara teased.

After all, Ryan looked so much like Titus that anyone could spot the father-son connection in a heartbeat.

Chiara had seen old childhood photos of Titus at the Goodman manor. Maybe not a total copy, but seriously, it was almost like looking at the same person.

“I’ll come pick you guys up,” Titus said.

“No need, I told you I’m with-” Chiara started to say.

Just then, Heather ended the call and walked back over. “Chiara, have the driver pick you up later. Something urgent came up at work, so I need to head back to the office.”

Chiara nodded. “Alright, got it. Take care driving.”

Heather nodded, giving Ryan a few extra loving glances before heading out.

Chiara’s phone buzzed again with Titus’s voice. “Twenty minutes.”

Chiara finally gave in and replied, “Got it.”

With that, she hung up.

The Apex International Kindergarten was actually pretty close to the Goodman Group.

“Mommy.” Ryan suddenly came running over, all sweaty from playing.

Since it was getting colder, most of the activities had moved indoors.

The indoor area was spacious. This kindergarten occupied a fairly large area.

“Why are you all sweaty? Are you hot?” Chiara asked.

Ryan nodded. “Mommy, water.”

It turned out he was just thirsty from all that running around. Ever since she became a mother, Chiara had always carried her trusty mom bag, packed with all the must-haves for Ryan.

She took out an insulated water bottle and handed it to him. “Slow down, sweetie.”
