Chapter 263
Chapter 263
‘Now that’s a good question, Kason thought to himself. ‘What do I want from Heather?”
Kason’s gaze turned icy, a chill settling in his eyes. He reached out and forcefully tilted her chin up, his tone laced with contempt and mockery.
“Happy? Oh, I’m just thrilled,” he said. “But you went and chased away my catch. So, what are you going to do about it?”
Heather let out a quiet sigh of relief, thinking he was just annoyed that she’d crashed his flirting session.
“Do you want me to get her back for you? Or if you want someone else, I’ll get=”
“Shut up!” Kason snapped, his voice sharp and commanding.
His face grew even darker, his eyes locked on her with a dangerous intensity, like he was ready to rip her to shreds.
That look made Heather sense the danger in the air.
“We should probably head out,” Heather said.
But Kason just reached out, shut the door firmly, and locked it tight.
The sharp click of the lock rang out, landing right on Heather’s nerves. Her scalp tingled, but she kept her cool and asked, her voice steady, “What are you doing?”
“What do you
think?”
“I don’t know. Let me go,” Heather protested, struggling harder.
‘He locked the door. He must be planning something bad,’ Heather thought. ‘And honestly, it’s not hard to guess what he
wants.’
Kason grabbed her arm and threw her onto the couch.
He stood over her, cold and imposing, and right in front of her, as she stared at him in shock and anger, he pulled off his tie.
“Why go out of your way to find another woman for me when you’re right here?” he said.
Heather’s expression changed instantly. ‘At home or at the office, I can put up with whatever he throws at me,’ she thought.
‘But this is an auction house. There are people everywhere outside. Even if the door’s locked, I’m not the type to hook up with someone in public.
She sprang up, trying to dash for the door, but Kason grabbed her around the waist and hauled her back.
“Are you out of your mind, Kason? Let me go, do you hear me? Let me go, you maniac! You psycho! I dare you!” Heather shouted.
Heather had already bent over backwards for Kason, but doing something like this in public? She couldn’t do it.
Kason caught the genuine fury in her eyes and just gave a crooked grin.
“Well, look at that, you actually get mad,” he taunted.
Heather couldn’t help but think, ‘He’s insane. Who wouldn’t be pissed? Anyone would lose it.”
“Let me go!” Heather yelled.

Chapter 263
Kason pinned her down on the couch, one hand working at his shirt buttons, the other covering her mouth as he murmured a warning in a low voice.
“Shh, keep it down,” he said. “Unless you want someone to bust in or watch the show. I don’t mind, but if you want a crowd, just keep yelling.”
Heather’s chest rose and fell with anger, but all she could do was shoot him a furious glare.
Finally losing it, she snapped back with biting sarcasm, “What are you, a pig in heat? Can’t control yourself no matter where we are?”
Kason’s face went dark, his eyes cold and menacing as he stared her down, like he was ready to rip her to shreds.
“If I’m just a pig in heat, then what does that make you? A little sow?” Kason shot back.
Heather turned her head away, her voice cold as ice. “Since you can’t keep it in your pants, maybe I should just hire you a female secretary.”
‘That way, whenever he gets the urge, he’ll have someone right there, and maybe he’ll finally stop pawing at me in the office, Heather thought.
Kason stared her down for a long, icy moment, then grabbed her chin and forced her to meet his gaze.
“A female secretary? Mrs. Bradford, you’re really considerate and generous,” he sneered.
Heather just stared at him in silence, her eyes still full of anger.
Kason suddenly leaned in close. “So, you don’t want me having my fun with you at the office, huh?”
The word “fun” was so degrading that Heather tried to turn her head away, but he held her firmly, refusing to let her move.
He gave her a cold, amused look.
“Kason, don’t try anything,” Heather warned.
“Shh, don’t make a sound.” Kason fixed her with an icy stare. “That mouth of yours really pisses me off sometimes. Don’t push me, or I’ll make sure you can’t say another word.
“Even if you don’t want me to have my way with you, you’ll just have to deal with it. I might actually consider that secretary idea, and maybe we’ll even have some fun together in your private lounge. Wouldn’t that be thrilling?”
Heather remembered what happened on the island last time. Having people around watching was already too much for her to handle.
If it were a threesome, she would probably be sick to her stomach.
Fury flashed in her eyes as she turned her head and bit down hard on his arm.
She didn’t hold back, biting with everything she had.
‘He’s not going to let me off easy anyway, so I might as well make him feel the pain,’ Heather thought.
Kason hissed in pain, and his face darkened instantly, veins bulging on his forehead as he clenched his jaw.
“Getting a taste for biting, huh? Alright, I’ll teach you a lesson you won’t forget today,” he growled.
Kason gripped her chin tightly.
By the time the auction wrapped up, the staff knocked on the door, asking if anyone was inside.

Chapter 263
Kason didn’t dodge. He just pressed his tongue against his cheek, not angry at all. His eyes were deep and unreadable as he stared at her, his voice low and quiet. “Do you feel better now?”
