If he remembered right, she had wolfed down a giant bowl of oatmeal, coffee, an egg, and a pile of snacks.

Cindy tried to send him a look, eyes wide, basically begging him to shut up. Jon didn’t catch on. He’d been coding all morning, and his brain was still stuck in logic mode. Unless you spelled it out, he just didn’t get it.
