Rebirth Revenge Is Everything (Ariana) novel Chapter 741

Kevin also saw Carson.

He was slightly taken aback, then turned his head and gently tugged on his mother's sleeve. As Ariana looked on in confusion, he gestured for her to look ahead. Ariana instinctively glanced over and immediately spotted the younger son standing there, puffed up, silent, and with a cold expression.

In a low voice, Kevin said to Ariana, "Mom, should we go over? I just heard from the butler that ever since my brother came back, he's been making a fuss and almost got punished by Great-grandfather. Let's go and calm him down."

Ariana didn't say anything.

She frowned while looking at the little boy with his chin defiantly raised, exuding arrogance. Her frown deepened.

Kevin's comment especially made Ariana chuckle wryly, unable to hold back: "Ignore him."

After speaking, Ariana bypassed Carson as if she hadn't seen him and headed straight to her bedroom. Ariana decided to teach this little guy a lesson. In truth, her return today was partly out of an intention to see how her youngest son was faring in the Stone family. Even though she had claimed she wouldn't care for him anymore, Ariana found it hard not to feel a bit soft-hearted.

After all, what Lambert said that day was quite impactful.

She was worried her youngest son might have been frightened.

But hearing that he still had the energy to make a fuss upon returning certainly suggested he wasn't scared. It seemed she had been worrying too much. Well, then, she should follow Lambert's advice, and during this period, maintain her distance.

And then...

Figure out how to educate him.

Once Gracie's health improves, she will think of a way to guide her youngest son.

But Carson, at the time, had no idea what his mother was thinking. He was somewhat bewildered as he watched her leave without even a glance in his direction, feeling a wave of panic. Especially since his older brother maliciously remarked as he passed by, "Keep making a fuss, like I've always said, Mom doesn't like disobedient children."

Kevin has a slightly scheming nature.

In fact, he's even more calculating than Lucian.

He's always known what kind of child his parents like, so he's worked hard to be that way. He would never be as foolish as his younger twin brother, who would give up his mother for a servant. Thankfully, his brother is foolish; otherwise, he wouldn’t have been his mother's only one.

Carson stared blankly at the back of his second brother as he walked away after speaking. A few seconds later, Carson's eyes turned red, and he couldn't hold back anymore, breaking down in tears of panic.

No!

He doesn't want to be abandoned! Waaa—

Harper Family.

The cold Harper family residence was almost devoid of people, except for the servants, housekeeper, and nanny.

Oh, wait, Nathan was still at home.

Nathan stared blankly out the window, his eyes filled with anxiety and worry. Many days had passed, and his adoptive parents still hadn't decided to reinstate him at Harper Corporation. This made Nathan more panicked each day, to the point where he couldn't sleep at night.

He was terrified that he would wake up the next day without his place as the heir.

Just then, a servant knocked on the door.

Nathan slowly came back to his senses. He looked coldly at the servant and asked impatiently, "What is it?"

The servant knew that the young master's temper hadn't been good recently, so he spoke cautiously, "Young Master, you have a call. The caller said she's someone from Miss Lewis's side."

Miss Lewis?

Nathan was momentarily taken aback, then his expression shifted.

On top of that, Irene was out of reach for some unknown reason. With her belly growing, Flora had no choice but to bear it for now, focus on taking care of her pregnancy, and prepare for childbirth.

She planned to deal with everything after the birth.

And now, she had finally given birth, and it was a beautiful boy at that.

This was the first grandson of the Harper family!

This time, the Harper family had no reason to refuse her marriage into their family, right? They couldn't possibly allow their first grandson to become an illegitimate child.

Nathan looked down at his son, who was dozing off while nibbling on his tiny hand.

Perhaps it was the blood tie, but the agitation in Nathan's heart subsided slightly, and he lightly touched his son, his eyes faintly showing a touch of joy. It was clear that the first son brought a sense of novelty to Nathan.

Taking advantage of the moment, Flora said, "Nathan, I was wrong about the last incident. Could you please speak to Auntie on my behalf? I promise I won't be so indiscreet next time. It's all because Ariana acted so excessively at school back then that I couldn't hold back when I saw her. Nathan, please ask Auntie for help, okay? Our son cannot be a despised illegitimate child."

Hearing Flora mention Ariana, Nathan's hand froze momentarily.

He hadn't thought about this until Flora brought it up.

Upon realizing it, his face couldn't help but darken. He gave Flora an odd, slightly irritated glance, then frowned, "Let's talk about it later." A few months ago, he might not have cared. After all, offending the young mistress of the Stone family wasn't a big deal.

But now...

That Ariana was his adoptive mother's biological daughter, which made the issue completely different.

He could understand why his adoptive mother had been so angry that day.

Thinking of this, Nathan's gaze became shadowed. He glanced at Flora, who was still sweet-talking and persuading him on her own, feeling that if he wanted to regain his mother's trust and affection and return to the Harper family, he would have to seriously reconsider his relationship with Flora.
