Rebirth Revenge Is Everything (Ariana) novel Chapter 761

Lambert was somewhat puzzled that Bran had decided to accompany him personally. But since he needed a favor from the man, he kept his thoughts to himself and said nothing.

At his question, Bran merely quirked an eyebrow, then shrugged. "Alright," he said simply, and walked toward the doctor. Lambert instinctively frowned, unsure of Bran's intention. It wasn't until Bran followed the doctor toward the blood draw room that Lambert's mouth twitched involuntarily.

"What's the meaning of this?" he demanded.

He had assumed Bran agreed to help so readily because he had connections. After all, Bran's family had been entrenched here for generations; their influence was substantial. While Rh-negative blood was rare, for someone of Bran's status, it shouldn't have been difficult to procure—much like how, back in B City, though such blood was hard to come by, Lambert himself always had ways to get it.

Bran responded with a casual counter-question, "Didn't you need the Rh-negative blood?"

Lambert fell silent. He did need it, but he couldn't fathom what Bran was playing at. Or rather, he had no idea what Bran's real motive was, or if he was simply being toyed with. However, with the situation being critical, Lambert knew every second of delay increased the risk. He chose not to press further.

But his gaze toward Bran turned sharp and icy in an instant, silently promising to watch his every move.

If he had deliberately delayed Ariana's blood transfusion, then Lambert would settle this score with him. It was no wonder Lambert thought this way—after all, Bran was Irene’s ex-husband. Even though they were divorced, no one could guarantee that Bran no longer held feelings for her.

Bran naturally noticed the icy, hawk-like glare Lambert was shooting his way.

He sighed helplessly, "Do you think M Country hospitals have an abundant supply of Rh-negative blood? I’m Rh-negative myself. If you delay any longer, your wife will truly be in danger."

Hearing this, Lambert was genuinely taken aback.

He never expected Bran to also have Rh-negative blood—and to reveal it so openly in front of him.

Such information was practically confidential.

Given the frequent scarcity of Rh-negative blood, if it became known that the heir to the Moore Group had a rare blood type, the risks to his safety would only multiply. Lambert pressed his lips together, now utterly perplexed by Bran’s motives.

But now wasn’t the time to dwell on it.

Lambert lowered his gaze deeply, stealing one last glance at the peacefully sleeping Ariana in the hospital room before heading to the blood draw station.

By then, Bran’s blood type had been confirmed—a perfect match for Ariana’s. The doctor breathed a sigh of relief and announced that the transfusion could proceed immediately. He then tactfully inquired whether Bran might consider donating a bit more blood to the hospital’s reserves—for compensation, of course.

Bran was speechless.

Did he really look like someone who needed to sell blood for money?

The doctor, though disappointed by Bran’s polite refusal, didn’t press further. After all, the man had already donated a significant amount for this patient—it was only natural if he didn’t wish to give more. Still, the doctor gently suggested that once Bran had fully recovered, he might consider coming back to donate.

Bran: "..."

After the blood transfusion, Ariana's complexion gradually shifted from deathly pale to a healthy flush, easing the tension that had been etched on Lambert's face.

The price is only 1/4 of what others charge
