Rebirth Revenge Is Everything (Ariana) novel Chapter 794

After much internal struggle, Kiara hesitated for a long while but ultimately agreed to go out with Rawls. As for the documents, she decided she would stay up late to finish them after returning.

This should be fine, right?

Kiara thought to herself.

With that burden lifted, she felt much better. She rushed home at top speed to change clothes, then headed straight for the address Rawls had sent her. By the time Ariana arrived, the office was completely empty.

Ariana glanced around in surprise before calling over another assistant. "Did Kiara not come in today?"

Since there had been no deliberate effort to hide it, everyone at White Corporation knew that Kiara was Ariana’s younger sister.

The assistant naturally didn’t dare speak carelessly.

"She was here… but she took a call and seemed to have some urgent matter, so she left. She did say she’d handle these documents when she got back." After all, they were sisters—whatever happened between them was none of her business. But if she misspoke and Kiara found out, she’d be in trouble.

Even though the second young lady had seemed easygoing lately, that might just be on the surface.

No one would be happy to find out someone had tattled on them.

So the assistant answered very carefully.

Ariana, however, frowned deeply. She silently stared at the documents for a long time, unable to think of anything that could be so urgent for Kiara to leave them unattended. She knew Kiara’s personality well—normally, she would never leave work without finishing the day’s documents.

So then…

What exactly was the matter?

The assistant studied Ariana’s unreadable expression and cautiously ventured, "President White, perhaps Assistant Kiara really has something urgent. She arrived early this morning to handle these documents and didn’t even have time to drink water..." The assistant was trying to put in a good word for Kiara, hoping she might owe her a favor later.

But she didn’t realize that the more she spoke, the more Ariana’s unease grew.

Because Kiara rarely had anything that could be called "urgent."

In the White family, nothing was ever truly excluded. That left only one possibility.

It had to be about Kiara’s friend.

Ariana paused, her brow furrowing slightly before she finally said, "You may go."

The assistant exhaled in relief and quickly replied, "Understood. I’ll take my leave then." Without another word, she hurried away, not daring to linger a second longer.

Ariana remained still, her eyes shadowed with unspoken thoughts.

...

Meanwhile, Kiara had just met up with Rawls.

They were in an exquisitely decorated café.

Truth be told, Kiara still didn’t quite understand why high society insisted on discussing matters in cafés. But it didn’t matter—knowing or not knowing made little difference to her.

Rawls sat by the window.

A striking mix of heritage, his handsome features naturally drew the attention of those around them.

Kiara looked at Rawls with a hint of nervousness, forcing a smile as she said, "Sorry to keep you waiting."

Rawls' deep, mesmerizing eyes studied the girl who had clearly taken great care with her appearance. A charming smile flickered in his rich brown irises as he replied, "No worries. The honor of waiting for you is all mine."

The line was admittedly cheesy.

But...

For some reason, when it came from Rawls' lips, it made her heart skip a beat despite herself.

The price is only 1/4 of what others charge
