Betrayed and Dumped: She Rose Stronger Than Ever novel Chapter 133

He turned to Sonja. “Sonja, did you get the computer sorted out?”

Sonja smiled. “All done.”

She pulled up her proposal on the big screen and started her presentation. Rebecca found herself hooked almost right away. By the time Sonja finished, Rebecca was still deep in thought.

This was seriously impressive work.

She glanced over at Sonja, trying to figure her out. Was this really all Sonja’s doing? If it was, then Cindy’s claims about Sonja hiring people to write her papers didn’t add up at all. But if it wasn’t Sonja, then who wrote it? Rebecca knew the NovaStack Cloud team pretty well, and honestly, none of them could put together something this strong. Not even Bruce.

Cindy didn’t catch all the technical bits, but Rebecca’s face said enough. NovaStack Cloud’s proposal clearly stood out.

“She probably paid someone for it again,” Cindy texted from under the table, adding a rolling-eyes emoji.

Rebecca replied, “If she can buy work like this, that’s a talent in itself.”

When Sonja wrapped up, Austin started clapping. “Sonja, that was fantastic. You made everything so clear. I learned a lot.”

Sonja let out a quiet breath. “Thanks, Austin.”

Austin always knew how to keep things balanced. After praising Sonja, he looked at Rebecca. “Sunforge Tech’s proposal is also excellent. Both companies bring something unique.”

Rebecca nodded. “What I showed yesterday was just the outline. I’ll send you the updated version once it’s ready.”

She barely finished before Sonja chimed in. “Same here.”

She shot Rebecca a smile. Rebecca frowned, feeling like there was something off behind that smile.

After lunch, the group headed out with Austin for some horseback riding.

Austin was in high spirits. “This is my private stable. There are a lot of expensive horses here, most of them super gentle. I hired professional trainers from abroad, so if anyone wants to try, go right ahead.”
