Betrayed and Dumped She Rose Stronger Than Ever novel Chapter 325

Back in the waiting area, things were getting tense.

Cindy and Jon had just come back from the restroom when they noticed the NovaStack Cloud team was nowhere to be seen. It was pretty obvious they’d been called into the meeting with Bryce’s team ahead of schedule.

Cindy clenched her fists, her voice barely holding back her anger. “Skyline Capital went ahead and saw them first? Seriously? How can they just ignore the schedule like that? It’s so disrespectful.”

Justin leaned in, whispering, “Yeah, I tried to remind Bryce that we had the earlier slot, but he just shot me a look and acted like I was nobody.”

The two kept venting, their voices rising as they traded complaints. Rebecca sat quietly, not saying a word.

Jon finally turned to her. “What do you think? Is there any point in staying? I mean, Bryce’s attitude was pretty clear.”

Rebecca looked up, her expression calm but determined. “We’ve come this far. I don’t think we should give up so easily. We should at least give it a shot.”

She managed a small, reassuring smile. “I’ve dealt with clients way worse than Bryce before. I can handle this.”

“These people like to throw their weight around, but when it comes to real skills and solid tech, they know who’s actually good. When it matters, they’ll pick the best partner for them.”

Jon nodded. “Alright. Let’s wait a bit longer.”

That “bit longer” turned into two full hours.

Eventually, the receptionist came over, looking apologetic. “I’m really sorry, but it’s the end of the workday. I’m going to have to ask you to wrap up and head out…”

Cindy’s temper flared. “End of the day? Bryce hasn’t even met with us! Now we’re just supposed to leave?”

The receptionist looked confused, almost worried. “He left ages ago. Didn’t anyone tell you?”

Cindy’s eyes went wide. She rolled up her sleeves, clearly furious. “I’ve never been treated like this in my life. Bryce, you better watch out!”

Rebecca quickly grabbed Cindy’s arm and stepped in, her voice gentle. “Cindy, that’s enough.” She turned to the receptionist and offered an apologetic smile. “Sorry for keeping you late. We’ll head out now and make sure the lights are off before we go.”

[Don’t partner with Skyline Capital. They’re about to go bankrupt. Any contracts will be worthless.]

Rebecca stared at her phone, stunned.

Skyline Capital? Going under? That seemed impossible. They were an industry giant. If a client that size collapsed, it would send shockwaves through the entire supply chain.

If NovaStack Cloud actually won the bid and signed with them, and then Skyline Capital went bankrupt, they’d never see a penny. All their effort and investment would be for nothing.

The thought alone made her break out in a cold sweat.

But still… was it possible?

And who would send her a warning like this? The message had no name, no clue, nothing.

She dialed the number right away, but the call didn’t go through. The line was disconnected.
