Once you spend more time with her, you’ll see how amazing she is. If Stephen actually manages to win her over, that would be the best. You know how long it took him to move on after everything that happened. He’s finally open to starting something new with someone. Isn’t that what you and Grandpa have always hoped for?”

Chelsey’s eyes softened for a second, a flicker of pain passing through her. Cindy was right. It had been five years. Stephen hadn’t been able to let go, not until now. As his mom, she just wanted both her kids to find happiness.
