Her gaze flickered as she shot back her own offer. “Thirty million. Give me thirty million and I’ll say yes.”

Madison practically choked. “You... you’re insatiable. How can you even ask for thirty million?”

Twenty million was all the liquid cash Madison had access to. Anything more and she’d have to start selling off assets, and if her husband noticed, she’d be in real trouble. Given her awkward status in the Terry family, she wasn’t about to risk that.

Before she could spit out another word, the door flew open with a loud crash.
