Brett felt himself relax a little.

Some of our clients have been asking for locally deployable AI tools to help them boost their results. I still think our focus for the rest of the year should be on AI, making it a feature of what we already offer. Plus, we have that partnership with Dr. Palmer’s team at Larkhaven College, so we’re already ahead of the game when it comes to AI.”

“As for launching a brand-new product, I really don’t think we need to rush. We’d need a lot more market analysis first. All of our current clients signed within the last year. We should focus on delivering for them and keeping things running smoothly before we ramp up more R&D. That’s my take.”

Rebecca had barely finished when Cindy raised her hand. “I agree with Rebecca.”

Brett frowned, clearly annoyed at their pushback.

He glanced at Jon.

Three people were with him, two against. Jon’s opinion would tip the balance.

If Jon sided with him, he could just push ahead and ignore the small opposition.

Everyone in the room looked at Jon.

He took his time, rolling up his shirt sleeve, eyebrows lifting just a little. “I agree with Ms. Harper too.”
